issue, it was just my wife and me. Our original goal was simply to provide fresh, healthy food for people
in need. However, as our efforts grew, the demand increased, and we realized we couldn’t handle the
work alone.
Fortunately, people began hearing about what we were doing and offered their support. We are
incredibly grateful for the generosity that has helped us grow from renting a U-Haul trailer to operating
a full-size food pantry in a building that has been graciously provided for us.
While this work is rewarding, we occasionally face significant challenges. For instance, when the air
conditioning unit failed during the hottest months of the year, it seemed like everything was going awry. In moments like those, it is the support from individuals and companies like EMC Mechanical Services
that gives us the wind to keep sailing.

I hired EMC in 2022 for a problem we were having with one of our air handlers in the Fellowship Hall.
We were receiving $250,000 quotes to replace the air handler from other vendors; none of the other vendors said that the unit was repairable.
EMC came in and said that the unit was repairable and even backed their confidence with a warranty.
EMC was able to save the Church $200,000 by trusting EMC’S judgment. Still to this day, 2 years later, the unit is doing great. With EMC saving us money and addressing other issues we were able to drop Harris Mechanical from our PM contract and hire EMC. Not only was EMC less of cost. The performance of work they have to offer is unmatched. I truly believe EMC is one of, if not a top company in Richmond.
We have also been able to upgrade our controls throughout the Church from Pneumatics to digital controls. This has also saved the Church a buttload of money and way less of a headache. This was a big change to how the HVAC at Reveille operates. We have had several issues with the changeover, but EMC has done a wonderful job resolving the issues.
Whenever I have had problems, EMC has an answer. Even if they didn’t have an answer at the time. They take the appropriate time to investigate the issue and resolve it without multiple visits.
I want to especially shout out Jon Norton for always guiding Reveille in the appropriate direction. Jon is a very honest guy and is 80% of the reason why I signed EMC to a PM contract/use EMC.
All of the techs that our sent to Reveille are good, hardworking guys!
Also, I want to shout out to the ladies who keep it running in the office!!!
I have always been positively greeted, and whenever I have had issues with invoices, they are resolved very quickly!
